It's always difficult for me to sum up these BIG life moments...

photos help, but words don't seem to explain the feelings.

I will just say,

Grant Christian Lewis has been called to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints...

He has been assigned to labor in the Chile Consepcion Mission.

He reports to the Mexico MTC on Tuesday, October 17th 2017

And my heart could not feel more tender, proud and at peace!

Everyone making last minute guesses before he opens the envelope!

The big brothers all came out to support Grant! 

He had loads of people here to show their love, support and excitement.

I LOVE this photo...it's silly and candid...but look at the parents.

We were out of our minds nervous!

Grant opened the envelope and the tears immediately started...

And then he said the word...

CHILE

It was so amazing, and sweet and right...just like Grant!

I love that when they all stood up for this pic, one of them said,

"We have to take this same pic again when Grant comes home!"

This is a great group of boys!

Back to the map we all went, we all feel the need to learn as much as we can about Chile now.

SO exciting!

Farmer summed it up perfectly at the end of the day when he said,

"On fathers day I can say the greatest present I have received is having wonderful faithful children who make good choices, love life, and are willing to serve the Lord."

Amen to that!

Congratulations Grant and congrats to Chile, they're lucky to have him.

This boy is going to change lives!
